Settings
Language, providers and models, concurrency, and the MCP server.
- About, with the app Version.
- Language, a picker of 50 languages plus a system-default entry. The interface switches as soon as you pick one, and on macOS the menu bar follows.
- Help & Documentation opens the in-app help in a separate window, and Contact / Support opens the contact form.
- Models lists every model Monet knows, built-in or imported. Its switch hides a model from the generation picker without removing it from the list. Open a row to rename the model, pick its Color, set its default options, or delete an imported one. See models and options.
- Providers holds the API key for each service, masked once saved, with an Autodetected badge where the key came from the environment and an Enabled switch that hides a provider’s models without deleting anything. Add Provider offers the built-ins or a Custom endpoint — a name, a base URL and optional headers. Verify endpoint works out the protocol for you, and before saving you review the models it found, switching off any you do not want. Open a provider’s row again later to re-check what it serves. See setting up API keys.
- Executor Settings: Concurrent Tasks, from 1 to 10. At 1 everything runs one at a time, which is gentle on your machine and on rate limits. Higher values finish batches faster but use more memory and bandwidth. The default of 4 suits most work.
- MCP Server lets AI agents drive the app over the network. See automation.
