Menu bar and dropdowns
Every metric as its own status item, and what opens when you click one.
Operator does not crowd everything into one readout. Each metric you enable becomes its own status item with its own live figure, so a glance at the bar is enough — no clicking required.
The items
- CPU — load, with per-core detail and the processes behind it
- GPU — utilisation, plus display brightness control
- Memory — pressure and usage, ranked by process
- Storage — space and disk activity, with SMART health where available
- Network — throughput, Wi-Fi signal, VPN state, ping and public IP
- Battery — charge, health, cycle count, and the level of connected Bluetooth gear and AirPods
- Sensors — temperatures, fans, power draw and voltages
- AI — what your local AI tools are spending, covered in AI usage
- Combined — several readouts folded into a single item, for a narrow menu bar
The dropdowns
Click any item and a liquid-glass panel opens with the detail behind the number: sparklines over time, radial gauges, and ranked process lists showing exactly who is consuming what.
Some dropdowns also act rather than only report — dim the display straight from the GPU panel, or turn on keep-awake for a long render. The controls sit next to the numbers they affect.
