Updates

Operator checks for new versions on its own, a few times a day, and installs them from Settings → Info.

• Update Now — a newer version is available
• Up to date — you are current, or the update feed could not be reached

A badge appears on the Info tab when an update is waiting, so you do not have to go looking.

Updates are cryptographically signed, and Operator refuses any build whose signature does not match — a tampered or corrupted download cannot install itself.

Installing by hand

Every version stays available on the releases page, each with its notes and checksum. Download the DMG and drag it over your existing copy; your licence and settings are untouched by a replacement in place.
